Cape Cod Toy Chest has gone through some transformations during the Winter months. With a slightly new layout and tons of new product offerings, we’re like a whole new store with the same friendly, customer oriented service. A fantastic updated partnership with Mattel and Fisher-Price bring an exciting variety of Hot Wheels, Barbies, WWE, Disney Princess, Jurassic World, and even Polly Pocket, with some other characters to come. We also have been trying to stay on top of popular trends with mixed results. Pokemon has had quite the resurgence over the past 3 or 4 years and demand has skyrocketed while out supply has gradually diminished from our distribution partners. Due to this inequity, we are constantly adjusting our purchase policies regarding Pokemon and setting maximum purchase limits. With these limits we can attempt to make it so that everyone, especially children, have a fair opportunity to get at least some Pokemon. Another recent trend is Nee Doh squishies. Even the Nee Doh company didn’t anticipate the large increase in demand for their products, so supply is low and comes slow. Each time we receive a shipment of Nee Dohs, we will post on our Facebook and Instagram with the exact items that we have received. We kindly ask that you give us a follow on either one of those social media platforms and resist calling or messaging the store about Nee Dohs. We also will not otherwise disclose when future shipments are coming because projecting fulfillment numbers and arrival has become increasingly difficult. These items also will have purchase limits in order to spread them out to as many children as possible. With both Pokemon and Nee Doh, Cape Cod Toy Chest is trying our hardest to get as much as possible in order to satisfy our guests’ needs. We want to be your one stop shop for fun and excitement, so come visit us as our hours are gradually expanded as the weather gets nicer.
